5th International Sufi Festival in Noida

International Sufi Festival India in its 5th edition was held at Marwah Studios on 17 th December was inaugurated by His Excellency Abdul Basid, High Commissioner of Pakistan. Dignitaries who attended the event were Dewan Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan Sajjadanashin (current head) of the Chishti order of Sufism, Gaddinashin, of the Ajmer Shariff Dargah. Dr Bhisham Narayan Singh, Former Governor of Tamil Nadu, Ivan Boekelheide, Political Officer, Embassy of the United States of America. Krishna pant , cultural counsellor Embassy of Nepal. Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah Studios quoted " ISFI festival is dedicated in honour of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty.
Sufi Nizami Brothers enthralled the audience with their foot tapping Qawwali. Rashmi Agarwal mesmerized the audience with her soothing voice. Dr Anupama Srivastava and Bhai Kultar Singh creating the perfect place for a seeker.

Sufi Festival at Marwah Studios
5th International Sufi Festival India will be held on 17th December 2015 at Marwah Studios, New Delhi at 11 am.
Mr Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios quoted that Sufi music acts as a uniquely valuable bridge between East and West.
The spokesperson for ISFI festival Mr Atul Agarwal said Sufi devotional music inspired by the works of Sufi poets, like Rumi, Hafiz, Bulleh Shah, Amir Khusrow and Khwaja Ghulam Farid will be presented by various artists.

Powerful performances at the 4th international Sufi festival
“Persian language may be different but when you sing Sufi the vibes and energy still remain the same” said Sandeep Marwah appreciating the vocal artist Vaishali Rai who with her melodious voice win the hearts of hundreds of music lovers at the festival.
Bhai Kultar Singh Ragi & Party known for their Sufi numbers by Baba Farid and daily shows at Shishganj Gurdwara Delhi sang in Punjabi impressed the audience and all festival delegates from all over India.
The Rock Veda a team of young music professionals with their electrifying music and singing capabilities forced hundreds of music lovers to dance to their tunes.
Manisha gulyani enthralled the audience with Kathak based on Sufi poetry.
Anupama Srivastava hummed the verses of bulleh shahs poetry.
Gulsha Begum the president of the festival thanked each one for them for their sincere efforts to make the festival successful one. Later Sandeep Marwah presented memento to all the artists.

Gulsha Begum the founder of ISFI reminded the audience of unity, peace and love. She spoke about Sufism and Ajmer Sharif. Later Sandeep Marwah handed over the life membership of World Peace Development And Research Foundation to the honored guest. Dr. A.K. Srivastava Director ASMS paid vote of thanks on behalf of ICMEI-International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry.
Paintings by Michael Templin and Vijay Singh Chauhan were also exhibited.
Kathak by Manisha Gulyani, Sufi Vocalist Anupama Srivastava, Dr Sudeep Rai, Vaishali Rai, Kabul & Rock Veda and Bhai Kultar Singh Ragi performed at the event.

Sufi Music, Paintings & Awards unfold at the 4th International Sufi Festival Ajmer
The curtain raiser for the 4th International Sufi Festival India was held at Al Ikhlas Museum and Gallery, Ajmer.
Chief Guest Dewan & Head of Ajmer Sharif Dargah Syed Zainul Abedin Ali Khan inaugurated the event.
Gulsha begum festival director & Chairperson Kamaluddin Charitable Trust said the event was to seek the blessing of the revered Sufi saint of Ajmer shariff dargah as a tradition before the festival travelled in December to New Delhi
The event was followed by Sufi Painting exhibition and a award ceremony.
ISFI Award for Sufi Painting was awarded to renowned Artist Vijay Singh Chouhan for his work on Mughal art.
ISFI Award for Music was awarded to Zakir Ali Zakki Ali for their contribution from generation towards the Traditional Chishtiya Qawwali.
The musical concert began with the soulful sufiana kalaam on sitar by Sitar Maestro Dr sudeep Rai
(Disciple of Padmabhushan Pt.Debu Chaudhuri)
Followed by the kalaams of Hazrat Amir Khusrau in mesmerizing voice of Vaishali Rai made the audience swing with chaap tilak and Rang and damadam mast kalandar.
Kathak Exponent Manisha gulyani took the audience into a whirling experience with her mind blowing performance
The Traditional Chishtiya Sufi Ensemble of Zakir and Zakki Ali took the audience into a trance of divine music
The gala International Sufi Festival curtain raiser event was attended by music loving audience including Shri.Kamlendra Jha the chief patron of Kala Ankur Ackademy, Mr.Ajay Vikram Singh ( Former defence Secretery Govt.of India)Noted author Shri.Bakshish Singh,Smt.Ragini Chaturvedi and many others.
